It'sTuessday....and I have a freebie!!

Good morning!!

This morning, by definition, I was blessed. Hubby didn't wake me up...he let me sleep in...something which I normally only do on Mother's Day. I know tons who would be grateful but me, I feel like I lost half my day. Since I am one who leaves a notepad by my bed because I will wake up in the middle of the night with ideas & visions....to me, sleeping in means losing precious time acting on those ideas.

Last night I opened up a program I haven't used in a few months and it had an update...new update = new features and I was excited to play....but I promised hubby I'd finish watching a movie with him...so on the notepad went ideas.

So, this morning, with coffee in hand (also freshly brewed by hubby), I ventured back to my laptop to begin my new adventure with my added features. Open program, start new file.....

"Moooooom....Jasmine hit me with the pool stick!!"

WAIT..where did Jasmine come from? With Jasmine brings Cody...which means.....I HAVE A HOUSE FULL OF NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS!!! (ages 6-10)

I look at hubby, confused and he simply says "I love ya, honey...now I'm off to work! Have fun" with that little smirk of his!

Man...I knew freshly brewed coffee was too good to be true!!

Boudoir Mini Kit

This kit started with a rather odd inspiration, considering it's end name.
I spent the morning at a local park befriending a duck....he must have thought my camera was food cuz he walked right up to me and kept sticking his beak in my lens...he finally gave up and rested his head in my lap. I got some really great pics...he was such a ham....and it was the color index from one of his pics that chose the colors for this mini kit. The end layout incorporates a self portrait, giving the kit it's title name.

Glittery Winter

Okay...so I'm early!! No biggie, right!!
We moved to our new house in August and one lovable feature is the back yard. It is 1/4 acre and is split level so it slopes at one point. Great for draining the kids' pool in the summer....even better for sledding in the winter!

Unfortuntely, work and time restraints forced me to leave as a full time designer but I still love designing as a hobby and sharing my creations so here I am...flying solo!!
